Shunte Gamble-Davis is ready to stomp out Breast Cancer with her 2nd Annual Total Beauty Ladies Event. Shunte is the owner of All Twisted By Design an on-line boutique offering handmade, jewelry and accessories. Taking her love of fashion, event planning and a desire to help women everywhere, she created the Total Beauty Ladies Event benefiting a different charity every year, this year’s charity being The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
All of us ladies were treated to shopping, entertainment and motivational speakers. As for the shopping, I definitely made use of my time by perusing all 30 vendors offering everything from 
complimentary makeovers to healthy foods over the span of the 6 hour event. First, I stopped by Premier Chiropractic. Dr. Parsons was the first motivational speaker of the day. He stressed the importance of eating right and having great skeletal alignment in leading a healthy life. Next I stopped off at Dawning Soul to purchase one of their motivational tank tops 
printed with Jennifer Giabola’s “I Am” poem. Jennifer also served as a motivational speaker sharing an original poem and her life story highlighting her personal struggles and her eventual triumph over them.
I received a massage from Nikki Thomas at the NHS Wellness and Mobile Spa and chatted with Nyoka creator of Divine Cre8tions Hair & Makeup Studio, while she gave me a makeover. Finally I wrapped up my browsing by buying a Crystal Bling necklace from Pegsa Jewelry and a necklace from All Twisted By Design.
Being that this was a TOTAL beauty event, guests enjoyed presentations on beauty inside and out. Dr. Susan Hoover of MD Anderson Cancer Center provided helpful tips on decreasing breast cancer risk and Dr. 
Phyllis Donatto spoke on spiritual health. Yolanda Green of the WB Channel 39 served as keynote speaker touching on the impact we each have on the lives of others.
Entertainment for the event included poetry readings, a mini concert and a “The Stomp Out Cancer Baddest Shoe” contest. The 3 winners received gift cards to All Twisted By Design and DSW. The finale fashion show featured designers Mocca Couture, Glam Boutique by SHE and Wolfon Wear, with host Mr. Jesus Walks.
